SKATING IN THE SQUARE

SKATING CAN BE HAZARDS; ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY SKATE AT THEIR OWN RISK.  BY BOOKING ONLINE CUSTOMERS AGREE TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITION WHICH INCLUDES A DISCLAIMER.  FOR BOOKING ON THE DAY (NOT ONLINE) CUSTOMERS WILL BE ASKED TO READ AND SIGN A DISCLAIMER.

Skating in the Square use a very high quality synthetic ice with a secret glide enhancer – don’t be put off by previous synthetic rink experiences!  We are confident that your skating experience will be just as enjoyable and fun as skating on real ice.  Not only that – you will be skating in a traditionally festive environment outdoors, surrounded by Christmas trees, lights and with the scent of mulled wine drifting through the air!

Synthetic ice has many advantages:

  • Its environmentally friendly in that it has zero emissions – no chillers or compressors needed, no electricity and no noisy generators
  • It is far less expensive – which means we can keep the ticket cost down!
  • Its not cold and wet, just a little moist,  so a lot less uncomfortable when/if you fall down!
  • Its much safer for children to learn on

PLEASE WEAR GLOVES WHATEVER THE WEATHER
